Vintage Make Up
Weddings with a vintage edge have become very popular over recent years and are now even being reflected in the bride’s make up. Although a very popular look, it’s hard to define ‘vintage’ so we spent some time with our favourite make-up artist Simone Weldon creating a classic vintage look.
“Vintage makeup consists of few colours but has a glowing edge. Glossy lips and pale pink or brown shades to the eyes make the look chic”
“It is important to think back to how makeup once was. There were no broad bright colours as your makeup reflected your class so women has to emphasize what they had with different shades of neutral shades”
“I would recommend a slightly thicker foundation base for maximum coverage and brown or white pencil eyeliner to widen the eyes, whilst the lips are all about adding a glossy shine”
A huge thank you to Simone for her hints and tips and we would like to take this opportunity to ask those brides that decide to try this look to send us your pictures, we would love to hear from you.
Much Bespoke Love
