Lilac Hill Vintage Tea Party

Last weekend we had the good fortune to be invited to the launch of vintage tea party hosts Lilac Hill Vintage Tea Party. The faces behind the company are the lovely Matt and Charmian who decided to set up their business after their obsession with collecting vintage crockery for their own home got a little too out of hand.

There is also a cute little story behind the naming of the company as it is a mixture of the two villages that the couple grew up in… Awww we think that is cute!

The launch was held at a local village hall, the perfect setting for a country tea party and was wonderfully decorated with garden flowers, handmade button posies and wicker hampers as well as their large collection of vintage crockery of course.

The couple with the help of friends and family had also supplied the guests with an abundance of homemade cakes, sandwiches and our favourite, fresh scones with jam and cream, all washed down with cups of tea… that is definitely the way to win us girls over.

Their range consists of beautifully decorated china tea cups and tea pots, as well as cakes stands, cutlery, picnic hampers, hand-embroidered table cloths and napkins. Everything you would need for the perfect vintage tea party whether it be for a hen party or a wedding, these guys can tailor each package especially for you.
