A Glos Wed Tweet Up at Cowley Manor!
Good afternoon lovelies!
We just wanted to share with you an awesome venue that we had the honor of visiting on Tuesday at the Glos Wed Tweet Up! Check out Cowley Manor situated in the glorious Cotswold countryside!
Ok…that photo was from their website, the following photos were taken on the handy iPhone and whacked through Instagram!
The thing you should know about Cowley Manor is, from the outside it looks like it’s going to be your average posh manor (not that manor’s are average!) but on the inside it oozes quirky features and individuality!
This is the room where the ceremony takes place, how beautiful are those lights?!
These cool characters grace the walls of the bar!
The next part of the tour led us up the stairs to have a little nosy at one of the suites! What we really really loved about this part of the tour was the tiny little mirrors hanging from ceiling ready to project lots of mini rainbows when the sun shone through!
Fancy a dip in this GIANT bath in the centre of the ensuite?! It was such a beautiful bathroom with an amazing walk through shower & the bedroom was even more incredible!
A huge four poster bed, stunning views of the 55 acre grounds & a quirky round snuggly looking chair built for two was just some of the features that the suite boasted.
Oh, did we mention Cowley Manor also has an award winning spa with indoor & outdoor pools, a steam room, sauna and a peculiar place called a gym which we’ve never heard of…
We simply cannot stress to you enough just how beautiful this venue is and strongly urge you to go and check out their website here for more details!
While we’re on the topic of recommending people & places…
That night at the tweet up we met some pretty cool businesses and it was great to have a catch up with some old friends!
♥ We had a good ol natter with Lesley from The Vintage Hire, a company offering stunning crockery hire perfect for an English tea party!
♥ Suzie from Karma Kars (also one of the event organisers) had her beautiful Indian Ambassador wedding car parked outside the venue showing off its funky flowers!
♥ We also had the pleasure of meeting Shane from Youngs Photography! Watch this space lovelies! Hopefully Shane’s work will be showcasing across the pages of Bespoke Bride soon!
♥ Katherine from Notebook Weddings told us all about her wedding styling business, her website is very pretty too!
♥ Julie and her hubby to be were a very charming couple from Aunt Julie’s Bakery! Julie does the cooking…and her fiance does the tasting! Sounds like a pretty good deal to us since Aunt Julie’s cakes look so dam good!
♥ Francesca Lamond joined us at the tweet up too! Fran is on the path to a wedding planning & event styling heaven so keep an eye out for her new website launching soon!
♥ Last but not lease we met the lovely ladies of Cotswolds Vintage Party Hire who accompanied us on our tour around the manor and told us all about their crockery, cake stand & candlebras!
What an awesome night we had! Unfortunately we didn’t get chance to speak to everybody but we’ll see you at the next Tweet Up!
Much Bespoke Love
