We Visited The National Wedding Show, Birmingham!

It’s not an understatement when people say The National Wedding Show is a BIG show and we were honestly blown away by the amount of vendors and businesses at the ready to showcase their work & talent!

Our day began with a lovely press brunch (hello orange juice & fresh fruit!) where we were handed our goodie bag & a much needed map to navigate our way around the large arena!

Our first stop was to see the wonderful Chillie Breeze! The bespoke venue & wedding stylists had decorated up their area with a colour scheme that we loved oh so much!

Endless amounts of cherry blossoms, birdcages & tableware were just a few of the beautiful pieces that greeted us.

One mention of cake and we were off to see Cakes For All Uk who had a huge cupcake tower! Our favourite cake was this awesome macaroon piece though!

As the day progressed and a lot of stalls were seen, a few companies were sticking out in our minds as special and unique. First of the bunch was Shropshire Petals, a natural confetti company specialising in dried flowers, wheat sheaves and of course confetti.

We had a chat with Katie from the team and were very excited to hear about the success of this naturally beautiful company, you could tell that the staff really had a passion for their petals!

As we left Shropshire Petals a stand caught our eye showcasing photography work in rustic wooden frames, as we got closer we noticed the images were spelling out words! Hence the name of the company Alphabet Photography!

These images would make absolutely amazing and bespoke gifts for your hubby, a bride & groom or even your new home! If you head over to their website you can create your own piece of art by typing in any word of your choice and customising the letter images!

Next stop was the incredible Flowers Forever, a company providing a unique service of preserving your bridal bouquet in 3D!

They accept flowers up to 2 weeks after your event and provide a service that will allow you to cherish your flowers forever! We love love love this idea!

Ever look at a wedding video and think…I wish that was a music video instead?! Us neither, but since meeting Music Wedding Videos we may have just changed our minds! And of course we just couldn’t resist the temptation to hop in a photo booth! But this time there was no cramming into a photo booth involved! Meet Papzt! A company that ‘thinks outside the booth’, you simply get to stand in front of a TV screen and smile, then add your ‘props’ after the photos! There were tons of options to choose from & soon they’ll be having ‘themed props’ for couples who want to continue the style of their wedding down to every last detail. We decorated each other, hence why we came out looking a lot like some sort of cross between a monster and a transvestite…

It was almost time for the fashion show but before we headed over to our seats we stopped to chat to the wonderful dress designer of Timeless Couture!

Timeless couture showcased a gorgeous collection of intricate designs with a vintage essence.

And last but certainly not least was this stunning dress designed by Angels Carrying Savage Weapons, this was the ultimate dress that stood out to us on the catwalk.
