We Loved James & Katie’s Autumnal Wedding in Ross On Wye
4:30pm is an unusual time to get married, especially at this time of year when darkness seems to spring upon us before the day feels in full swing! But in this case, it couldn’t have been more perfect to have a wedding at this time, candles were placed around, fairy lights were up in the garden area & this autumnal wedding felt completely in tie with the season.
The ceremony took place at The Inn On The Wye in Ross On Wye, which is also where Katie, the bride, and her bridesmaids got ready for the day ahead. Might I add…there was no last minute rushing around, Katie even had time to sit and have a glass of champers before she walked down the aisle!
While Katie was enjoying her pre wedding drink, James & his groomsmen were outside wearing a perfect combination of fun & style with polka dot ties!
It was such a personal and relaxed ceremony that it reminded me of the beauty of simplicity. This was two people completely in love and surrounded by all of the important people in their lives and that was what mattered the most.
For those of you that are new to Bespoke Bride & can’t remember our ‘love stories’ feature, you can read all about Katie & James’ story here!
We wish them both the best for the future!

Oooh I love that first shot with the candles – very romantic! And Katie’s dress is just gorgeous, all the more so from being off ebay! Very refreshing to see a short skirt and covered up neckline – looks very sophisticated.
