Off The Record: New Look Wins Head of the Class!
Happy Easter! Wow what a week we have had. As many of you know, on Monday we announced our sparkly new re-brand and the response we have had since has been phenomenal. We have received so many lovely comments and would like to take this chance to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has emailed, messaged and tweeted, we have been completely overwhelmed by your kindness.
This week has been huge for other reasons, on Friday our resident bride, Sophie said ‘I Do’ to her wonderful husband Liam. The day was just out of this world with so many personal touches, the napkins and favours were all hand sewn and knitted, even the brides veil was hand sewn by the bride and her sister. The ceremony venue was the beautiful Rococo gardens in the Cotswolds and the reception was held at Over barn just outside of Gloucester. We were extremely lucky with the weather, good job as the ceremony was outdoors, although cold the sun shone at the very moment Liam and Sophie said their vows. We cannot wait to show everyone just how amazing this wedding, Sophie and Liam did an absolutely amazing job of bringing it together and we couldn’t be more happy for them.
As you can imagine this week has been a busy one so I am looking forward to spending today chilling out and relaxing with my beau and our kitties. As of next week we will have even more going on as we prepare to launch The Online Wedding Show in just over one month. We have lots of invites and promotional packs to send out, calls to make and events to organise so this is the last of the calm before the storm so to speak. We are extremely excited to be launching such a new and in some ways controversial service we can only hope you love it as much as we do. Here are a few other reasons we are happy this week:
Emily Loves:
♥ Justin Timberlake’s new single ‘Mirrors’ has got me all reflective and extremely thankful for what I have now.
♥ Thick woolly socks – honestly! I can not bare my feet being cold!
♥ Baking has never been my strong point but this week I successfully baked an Easter chocolate torte. You can find out the recipe here.
♥ Cooking my Beau’s favourite meal of Spaghetti Bolognese, I love the look on his face when he realizes its Spag Bol night! Sad huh!
Jess Loves:
♥ Being able to work from home. This week I came down with the dreaded flu and felt so lucky that I didn’t have to ‘call in sick to work’! Of course I still had to work, but there’s never a day at Bespoke Bride when I feel like it’s really work, especially when it’s from the comfort of a bed!
♥ Having long, hot, relaxing baths
♥ Beyonce’s ‘Life Is But A Dream’ documentary on bbc1 this week, I thought it was incredible!
♥ Rollers in my hair! Hello volume!
Wedding World Love:
♥ We follow Talia on Instagram and have been dying to see her wedding day since the first sneak peaks were posted, her DIY Kawaii wedding featured on Rock N Roll Bride last week and it really is amazing!
♥ I am soooooo in love with this Winnie the Pooh styled shoot, oh my gosh how cute!
♥ As far as real weddings go this apple orchard wedding that featured on Grey Likes Weddings has completely blown my mind the dress…oh the dress…! And the ring….well, just prepare yourself!
♥ These paper flower centre pieces created by Zipper 8 Lighting would make awesome decorations for your wedding!
We would love to hear whats making you happy this week? I’m sure for many of you Easter eggs and chocolate will be high on the agenda.
Much Bespoke Love
Emily ♥
