Off the Record: Films, Family & Fairs!

Welcome to the weekend!

I’m not going to lie, I am slightly disappointed that the heatwave we were eagerly awaiting this weekend has been a complete wash out, instead I am cuddled up on the sofa under a blanket, roll on summer! For most of this weekend I have been visiting my family, I try to devote my Saturdays to seeing them. This evening I will mostly be spending some much needed time with my other half watching the Hobbit, I can’t wait to chill out for a couple of hours. So tell us how has your weekend been???

What Emily Loves:

♥ I have had a teeny weeny diet breakdown in my healthy eating plan this week as I decided to indulge in small bit of chocolate cake….Naughty naughty… but i totally loved it!

♥ Getting to see how the designs are coming along for The Online Wedding Show was certainly a highlight of my week. We are so excited…eeeeek!!!

♥ Getting to meet the latest addition to our family… my cousin has had a little girl called Etti Lou and she is so adorable!

♥ Vegetarian sausage casserole…mmmm mmm!!

What Jess Loves:

♥ Spontaneously picking a film to watch and it ending up being amazeballs! We watched ‘We Bought A Zoo‘ and I loved it! So heartwarming and lovely! nawww!

♥ Going over friends houses for an evening of dinner, drinks & chat! Me & James were spoilt with piri piri chicken & orange tarts on Friday night! nom!

♥ Spending an evening at a cool industry event! Thank you so much Weird and Wonderful Wedding Fair, the night was awesome!!

♥ A lush roast dinner on a Sunday! There really isn’t many dishes that beat a roast!

♥ Zarn Ballentine the founder of Alice in Weddingland has launched her online wedding magazine ‘Alice’. The first issue is full yummy wedding goodness including the worlds best steampunk wedding.

♥ Have you heard all about the new 3D printing craze? If you haven’t then you need to check this out. If you have then this will give you a few ideas on 3D DIY ideas you could include at your wedding.

♥ We come across this list of 72 fonts and frames to make your own monograms, we thought this would be perfect if you are planning on making your own wedding stationery.
