Off The Record: Catwalks, Countdowns & Collections!

After such a beautiful start to the week I am a little disappointed that the weather has taken a turn for the worse this weekend but I’m thankful for even a couple of days of sun in the UK as it seems to be such a rarity. Today we are off to Bristol for a photo shoot with Isobel While and her fab vintage dresses. Get ready for a little blog exclusive in the next couple of weeks!

So what else are we loving this week?

Emily Loves:

♥ Insanity – the workout that promises you to be fit and toned within 60 sessions. I began on Tuesday and I can certainly see why, this is some hardcore training, I have been aching all week!

♥ Spending quality time with my boyfriend in the sun. We went for a beautiful long walk on Monday around the place he grew up, he even showed me a Cenote, I never knew we had them in the Forest of Dean?

♥ Starting a more healthy eating plan, being vegetarian I find it really difficult to eat healthy (surprisingly!) The plan comes with the Insanity workout but I have to admit it has already made a difference to the way I feel.

♥ Spending time in the sun, I honestly think it makes everyone a lot happier 🙂

Jess Loves:

♥ Countdowns…I’ve got so many awesome things to look forward to! My birthday is coming up…Glastonbury is around the corner…and my trip to Canada is on the horizon!

♥ Beyonce. I swear I might actually be in love with this woman. I saw her on tour on Wednesday and she was fantastic as always! I cried like a baby when she sang halo!

♥ When my mum plans a surprise. Me, my mum, my sister and her friend Naomi all went to Manchester earlier in the week (to see Beyonce) and we all thought we were staying in a Premier Inn, we arrive and BOOM! We’ve got an apartment in lush hotel called The Place! It was such a lovely treat!

♥ Watching keeping up with the Kardashians! Lol. I know, that’s quite shameful but I don’t care! I love it!

What we are Loving in the Wedding World:

♥ Hot off the catwalks of New York bridal market Claire Pettibone’s new decoupage collection is absolutely stunning. Think silk and vintage laces, flowers and delicate hand beaded details. This collection really does live up to the ethereal bridal fantasy.

♥ I have been totally obsessed with this Spirit of Beltane inspired shoot by Maureen Du Preez since I first spotted the sneak peeks on Facebook, it is just so magical!

♥ This post from Burnetts Boards on how to use social media is really helpful if you are just starting to delve into the world on twitter, facebook, pinterest……the list is endless!

♥ We are excited by the news of a new photo app from a Beautiful Mess next week, can not wait to try it out!
