Alice in Weddingland Bridal Shoot
OK so the idea of an Alice in Wonderland wedding is nothing new, they have become a popular theme for weddings as tea parties made their way back onto the scene, but I have to admit they never grow old. There is something so magical yet a little crazy about the story of Alice in Wonderland. We were ecstatic when Ellis from Ellis Wedding Shows contacted us to let us know that she was going to be organising a Alice in Weddingland shoot.
We popped along on the day to see what was going on and was amazed to see so many creative ideas, from a three tier flower display in teacups to brightly coloured cupcakes and macaroons. There were stripey tights, top hats and a pair of beautiful blue shoes that both myself and Jess fell in love with. Whimsical clocks and furniture were dotted around the set, the makeup artists also had fun painting on key holes and creating some pretty damn awesome hairstyles.
This shoot has so many great ideas for a wedding, I promise you will be completely inspired…
Ellis Wedding Show will be holding their next event at Penyard House on Sunday 22nd September from 10am – 2pm. Pop along to see over 50 local suppliers and catwalks will be at 11am and 1pm.

When I look at your ideas I become giddy and very very excited. I just hope we can pitch in a Cheshire Cat like the one in the latest Alice in wonderland movie with J.Depp. The tea party is really really cool with the French macaroons and the lovely cupcakes. I would want my man to look like the mad hatter. haha. I may seem incoherent because I really love your ideas and I couldn’t contain so much emotions I ended up with a very disjointed musings. Again, I really love your ideas, I love you! This is unbearably adorable. Thanks for sharing Martha May’s pics!!!

This is a beautiful photoshoot. I had so much fun creating the cakes for it, and really can’t thank the other suppliers enough for all of their hard work, and of course to you Bespoke Bride girls, for featuring it 🙂 x x
