Groomsmen Gifts from Izola: Win a Gift Package!
**THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED**
We have to admit we rarely talk about the groom or his groomsmen on Bespoke Bride and we promise we will try doing it more…
There is no time like the present to start trying, so today we are talking about groomsmen gifts. It can be difficult to know what to buy a man as a gift, don’t you think? Which is why we were ecstatic when the guys from Izola got in touch, to ask if they could run a competition to give one lucky reader a gift package for their groom or groomsmen. Of course we jumped at the offer because we love it when our readers win stuff.
IZOLA curates a collection of whimsical objects with a masculine sense of antiquity. Made with great care and attention to detail, these functional everyday staples tell a unique story and are designed to be the perfect gifts, inspired by the old world utilitarian ideal of making something that is built to last.
What makes Izola so unique are their nostalgic themes which can be found within the collection:
• Sport; a throwback to the collegiate varsity trophy room
• Maritime; a nautical motif
• Apothecary; a play on old world medicine
• Scout; a campy salute to iconic Boy Scout imagery
• Powder Room; a retro feminine sensibility
• Great Plains; a western and pioneer charm
We have spent a good few hours searching through the many gifts and believe me every single one of them is so unique and different. We are huge fans!
THE COMPETITION
Izola would like to give one lucky reader a gift package especially for their groom or groomsmen. No searching for hours for the perfect gift, imagine that!
To enter all you have to do is comment on this post letting us know who you would give this package to and why you think they deserve it. We would love to hear your stories about the men in your life, sometimes in the wedding planning process they can become a little overlooked.
Good Luck!

Cheesy as it may be, I’d give this to my fiancé….we’ve been together 10 years and I forgot to buy him a pressie to celebrate it (May 8th…oops!). He’s fab, funny and puts up with my crazy ideas.
I would give it to my sisters fiance for their wedding.
She has gone through a lot of boyfriends, and when she started dating this guy he was not well received by the family.
However their love grew and as we all got to know him, we all fell in love with him too.
He is a great guy and feels like a brother to me already, this would be a great gift to say welcome to our family(plus he is very jealous of all my Izola finds).
I would give this gift to my fiancé. We were childhood friends who drifted apart. 10 years later our paths crossed again and this time we fell in love! Some things are meant to be, and eventually everything works out perfectly. I can’t imagine life without him now!
I would love to give this to My fience, alex, he is the most Difficult person to shop for! He is the one doing all the wedding decisions (groomzilla) so it would be awesome of I gave him this as a pressie, just a small reminder that he is marrying me, not himself ;p I do love him regardless of that sounds 🙂 x
I would give this as a wedding gift to my husband to be as we are getting married on the 30th August 2013. He truly is amazing and I feel like the luckiest lady in the world 🙂
My man would love this! He’s pretty damn good at making me Mojitos on command, but could really do with the proper pieces of kit as using random kitchen objects is not ideal! He’s also been a right old Groomzilla with the wedding plans, to which not much of it is for him, but its making my life so much easier. That’s why I love him.
I’d give it to my best friend who is also the love of my life and my fiance! We’ve been through rough times and battled our way through chronic health issues (me) and depression (him) but we came through the storm and got engaged a few weeks ago. Nothing in this life is certain but I know that as long as we are standing side by side we can face and overcome anything 🙂
I’d give this to my dad. I’m the first of his 6 children to get married.
And as happy an occasion my wedding day will be, it will be tinged with sadness as my brother had a catastrophic bleed on the brain 8 months ago, which has left him in a paralysed minimally concious state. So he won’t be able to share the special day with the rest of the family. I’m using the last of my wedding budget to have the whole day professionally filmed, just in case one day my brother is well enough to watch the film with me. So I’d like to win this so I will have a present to give to my dad on the day.
I would definitely give this to my fiancé. He arranged the most amazing surprise getaway to the Waterside Inn for my birthday last August and shocked my by proposing in the summerhouse with the most amazing ring I’ve ever seen. I really couldn’t of picked one better!
With this I could just say thank you for working his butt off this year so we can get married this coming August and for putting up with all my indecisive and crazy ideas!!
i would give the gift to my brother. His wedding is in september and he works so hard for what he has. He had a family at a young age but didn’t not want to be like his father, not in his child’s life. He has overlooked a lot of opportunities to stay close to his son and his wedding will not be nearly glam but this gifts will make the day a little more mag- ni-fic!
I would give it to my brother who is getting married soon they are doing the whole frugal wedding and he has saved for 8 years to get married working 60 hours a week to save for the wedding. My brother has really worked hard to save the 3,000 they need to get married. My Brother’s wife to be has been in and out out of hospital as she has had many fits this year my brother looked after her as well as working so hard,he earns such a low wage and it has been so hard for him i think he deserves a treat.
I would dedicate this for this geek in the pink whom I get to know for 7/1727 days in person. Who made me this drink called AMF that i found bitterly acid in its blueish hue glass cleanser product but keep ordering in every bars that i went to in different countries. So he bought the limes at a wet market in Asia for 4 times of its actual price but still think he made a good bargain and gather all the staff at his hotel to help him dozing all the ingredients with water bottles, bowls…by his instruction (the bar from his hotel wasn’t well equipped for bar tending ) . When the concierge politely guided me to the roof floor when I supposed to meet him at the lobby for a swift visit in town ,I was quite curious. Everybody were staring at me the moment I stepped in and there he was , handed me this cocktail and hope it will keep me fresh when we cruise around town in that steamy weather. Right now we are an ocean apart , he lives in the city of angels and me the city of light , and I wish nothing more but to have this drink with him once more .
I would give this to my god father. My father has never really been in my life and he has always made sure that I have not missed out on a father daughter relationship. I am proud to have him walk me down the isle and if I would love to give him some extra presents so he knows just how special he is to me.
