Home DIY: How To Make An Ombre Yarn Bottle Vase!
I’ve got a nice and easy DIY for you lovelies today and it’s one of my absolute favorites for adding some DIY decor to the home! The best part? You don’t need a lot of materials and it’s perfect for any empty bottles that don’t have to go to waste! Don’t have a spare bottle? Better drink some wine asap! I wanted to create an ombre effect with my yarn but the sky is the limit here! You could go crazy and create a rainbow one, keep it simple with just one colour or mix a few shades together like this one!
You will need:
♥ Yarn (preferably 4 different shades of 1 colour) ♥ An empty bottle ♥ Scissors ♥ Glue
Step 1: Remove the packaging from the bottle
Step 2: Add glue to the top part of the bottle, I applied it quite thoroughly to ensure that the yarn could be pulled quite tight and stick well!
Step 3: Start to wrap your yarn around the bottle
Step 4: continue to wrap the yarn until you are happy with the amount in that colour then apply more glue ready for the second coloured yarn!
Step 5: Start to wrap your second colour around the bottle
Step 6: Repeat with third colour
Step 7: Start to wrap around your forth and final colour piece of yarn
Step 8: Glue the final piece of yarn down & you’re done!
Step 9: Fill with some pretty flowers!
