Wedding DIY: How To Make Drink Stirrer Escort Cards
What’s that you say? You want a way to let your guests know where they’re going to sit PLUS give them a drink when they arrive? Well my dear, I have the solution for you and they’re ridiculously easy to make! Plus how cute do they look? You could obviously do this with any coloured ribbon and card to match your colour scheme! I went for polka dot since we’re a little bit obsessed with it at Bespoke Bride! We’ve also filled these glasses with Portuguese lemonade which is super refreshing for your guests but if you’re looking for something a little (ok…alot) stronger then why not try a blue Monday cocktail?
You will need:
♥ Wooden BBQ Skewers ♥ A pen ♥ Card (patterned or plain) ♥ Ribbon ♥ Pen knife
Step 1: Cut out a rectangular piece of card (about 2 or 3 inches wide) and write your guests name & table number on it.
Step 2: Using the pen knife, cut two slits into the side of the care (not too close to the edge!)
Step 3: Slide the skewer through the slits and up through the card.
Step 4: Cut a piece of your ribbon (about 6 inches long /depending on the height of your glass!) and fold it in half.
Step 5: Fold it in half again around your skewer.
Step 6: Thread the end pieces of ribbon through the loop.
Step 7: Pull tightly then pop your skewer in a glass!
Told you it was easy didn’t I? Enjoy your drink stirrer come escort card you clever thing!
Much Bespoke Love
