Off The Record: A World Outdoors
So I have successfully made it through my first week without Jess- Yipee!! I realized that I was going to have to be really well organised whilst Jess was away, (as I also have a job, it is sometimes difficult to fit everything in) so last week I wrote a list of things that I needed to do each day and at what times and it really helped. Usually I will just write a list and tick jobs off as I go, but this time I thought I would actually allocate a realistic time to each job so that I didn’t spend too long on one thing. I have never been so organised and as a result I haven’t had to worry at all about things not getting done. I even managed to schedule lots of free time to spend a couple of evenings with Mr T and had a catch up with friends. WINNER!
For those that missed it last week – don’t forget Wedding Magazine has launched their first ever wedding blog awards and we would love to be nominated so please head on over to the website and vote for your favourite wedding blogs!
What Emily Loves:
♥ Talking weddings with my beautiful friend Hannah and meeting her gorgeous little girl baby Emilia – what a little sweety!
♥ Being part of a festival inspired shoot with the lovely Becky Joiner of My Fabulous Life for the upcoming Fabwedfest! We were the official bloggers for the event last year and it was awesome! If you are looking for some cool festival suppliers for your wedding this is definitely the place to be!
♥ I was so proud of my little bro this week for passing his driving theory test – Congratualtions!!!
♥ Both Myself and Jess celebrated our own little milestone this week as we reached 2000 followers on Twitter! Stay tuned this week as we will be offering a little competition to say Thank you!
♥ Caterpillars! There have been hundreds of Cinnabar caterpillars in our garden this week. I had never noticed before that we have lots of Ragwort plants, these caterpillars are one of the only insects that love to munch on them as they are usually poisonous to other insects and animals. I have been going out to check on them everyday and within a couple of days they have already doubled in size!
♥ Looking forward to the big reveal of Sophie (Crown & Glory) and Kat’s (Rock N Roll Bride) big secret! I think I have an idea what it is, and if I am right its gonna be awesome and they are going to inundated with requests!
What Jess Loves:
♥ Going to my first ever drive in movie! It was crazily good! You just park up, tune in your radio to the screen and enjoy your popcorn in the car. Wish we had them in England.
♥ Watching the Blue Jays play baseball! Even though they didn’t win, watching the game was an awesome experience!!
♥ Getting to the top of the CN tower! What I did not love was the glass floor! Terrifying!!
♥ Niagra Falls! Seriously, it is impossible to comprehend the power of the water. Totally saw a rainbow over the falls too 🙂
♥ Taking James to Ripley’s Believe it or Not! We had so much fun exploring and there was a hilarious bridge that we had to cross to exit. It made you feel that you were going to fall straight off the side of it, even though you were moving at all. Optical illusions get me every time!!
♥ Finding a cider that I actually like! I am not a big drink but Somersby black berry was so yummy!!
