Food DIY: How To Make Banana Muffins
I love bananas. And I love muffins. So you can just about guess how much I love banana muffins! Today I want to share my favorite recipe with you and let me tell you, it is so so easy!! This little baby will make 9 muffins so let’s get baking and get ready to enjoy them!
You will Need:
♥ 75g butter ♥ 250g self raising flower ♥ 1 teaspoon baking powder ♥ 1/2 tspn of bicarbonate of soda
♥ pinch of salt ♥ 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ♥ 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg ♥ 115g caster sugar
♥ 2 bananas ♥ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ♥ 2 medium eggs ♥ 125ml milk
Step 1: Heat the oven 190C/375F/Gas 5. Then melt the butter and allow to cool.
Step 2: Mash the bananas well.
Step 3: Sift the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a large bowl.
Step 4: Add the caster sugar and then stir through.
Step 5: With a fork, beat together the eggs, vanilla extract, melted butter and milk in a second bowl.
Step 6: Add in the mashed bananas and stir in.
Step 7: Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir thoroughly until everything is mixed in well.
Step 8: Spoon the mixture into the paper cases until almost full.
Step 9: Pop in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the muffins come away from the side of the pan when touched.
Step 10: Once ready take out the oven and leave to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
