Bianca & Tiaan: A Game Reserve Engagement
Bianca and Tiaans engagement photos are just so dang gorgeous! The shoot took place at a game reserve in the Eastern Cape in South Africa, which has created the most beautiful scenic background for each photo. The story of how they became engaged is so cute and who better to tell the story than the new bride to be Bianca….

“On Womans Day, the 9th of August 2012, myself & Tiaan went to his family farm where Tiaan grew up. We packed a backpack with snacks and a bottle of wine and attempted to climb the mountain that Tiaan spoke so much about. The view was amazing and about three quarters up we found a perfect spot where we poured ourselves a well deserved glass of wine and just sat in silence for a while absorbing the breathtaking view.
Tiaan broke the silence by telling stories of when he was a child and how much he enjoyed growing up on the farm. He went on to explain how the majority of his fondest moments are moments on this very farm. He “popped the question” by asking me if I knew what his BEST memory of the farm will be one day? I replied “No”? and he said: “My BEST memory will be that this is where I asked you to be my wife.” …he reached into his pocket, opened a small little box that revealed my beautiful ring and asked me to “spend forever” with him. I was speechless, bursting with excitement and shock, crying and laughing at the same time. What an amazingly unforgettable moment this was in both of our lives…gives me goosebumps everytime I talk about it!!!
Isn’t it just the sweetest story ever and isn’t that ring so unique! A huge thank you to wonderful photographer Erna Loock for submitting this beautiful engagement, I can only imagine how gorgeous their wedding will be.

I like the pictures so much. But I like the story much better. It’s so good to read a story about the love of a man and a woman that would naturally result in marriage. And Bianca’s diamond ring is just gorgeous. I really need to look for diamond engagement rings for sale and other beautiful love stories.
