A Woodland Festival Styled Shoot
Happy Monday lovelies!!
To ease you into this week we have a delicious styled shoot for you. Many will have heard of Mr and Mrs Unique the wonderfully colourful wedding directory with a blend of extraordinary, talented, crazy and the downright amazing suppliers. When Erica showed us this styled shoot that she had done with photographer Alexa Loy we thought this would be the perfect way to share with you just some of the amazing suppliers Mr and Mrs Unique has to offer.
“We recently got together some of our South East based wedding suppliers and organised a photo shoot to showcase their skills”, Erica told me. “What we had planned was a woodland shoot in a glorious bluebell field, but typically with the English weather, we were served with heavy rain and thunderstorms! So we moved to plan B… This is where Hexton Manor in Hertfordshire saved the day!
Hexton Manor is an impressive family home that retains many Victorian features and has the most amazing floral wallpaper in its grand hall where they hold wedding ceremonies. A perfect backdrop for the stunning Federica Bruno dresses and Basement Florist flowers!
Noeleen from the Basement Florist drew inspiration from a woodland festival theme, and featured some homegrown hellebores, foraged foliage and twigs to add seasonal flourishes to the floral designs. The vivid hues were chosen to reflect bright festival colours with lush green, jewel pink and coral. Amaranthus was used to add interest and texture with its trailing flowers.
Jolita jewels are inspired by antique Memento Mori jewellery, which translated from Latin means “Remember you will die”. It was the time when human hair was braided to create intricate pieces of jewellery in memory of the loved ones. Skulls were the main symbols accompanying the period, and they liked to incorporate them in the jewellery pieces.
The incredible dresses by Federica showcase her innate sense of style and expert eye for balance and proportion, giving her a deep understanding of what looks and feels beautiful. Federica pays particular attention to details such as delicate beading and the finest lace applications.
So if you are looking for some awesome like minded suppliers like those featured here, head on over to Mr and Mrs Unique and start your search today.
Much Bespoke Love
