A Fun & Fresh Citric Wedding Including a Rickshaw Carriage & Guest Book!
Mark & Fran’s wedding details filled us up with happiness and a bright and fun feeling as soon as we saw them! After all, there’s something so fresh about yellow splashed throughout your wedding day! This fun loving couple included lots of personal details too like including their German Short Haired Pointer, Beau on their invites, doubling their transport as a guestbook and who couldn’t love a little humour with their son carrying a flag with ‘last chance to run Daddy’ across it! Over to Mark & Fran to tell you more…
“All of our decor was based around being fun and fresh as it was late spring, we chose paper dove garlands from Cox and Cox, giant paper flowers from Pipii and a fantastic marquee from Raj tents! We got them to Pantone match the drapes to our yellow colour scheme!”
“Our photographer was Michael Marker and we chose him, as his style was really relaxed and we didn’t want any stuffy, formal photos! Our flowers were from Beaminster Flowers who were fantastic and I had a brooch from one grandmother on one side of the bouquet stem and a clip-on earring that looked like a brooch from my other grandmother on the other side. Our cake was a white chocolate ganache cake from M & S, decorated by our florist and it got well eaten too!”
“I asked my bridesmaids to choose their own dresses to fit the colour theme and they were from Miss Selfridge and Asos!”
“My dress was Anna Sul Y and chosen for the vintage feel and stunning back. Shoes were from Rachel Simpson, Headpiece was bespoke made by House of Istria to fit the colourings of the dress and veil was from HM Veils. The groom’s suit was from Slaters and braces and bespoke initialed shirt was from tailor, Frank Rostrom in Manchester.”
“Our on the day co-ordinator, NK Weddings was a supplier that really stood out to us and went over and above to understand what we wanted!”
“My advice to future engaged couples would be to marry the man you love and he’ll let you crack on with the girly details!”
Am I the only one dreaming of spring after seeing this gorgeous wedding?! It’s not even winter yet! I especially loved the rickshaw, I’ve never seen anything like that before!
