Off The Record: Fireworks, Friends and Feeling Festive
Hello you lovely lot! How has your week been? What have you been getting up to? Me & Emily have been busy little bees! We had a fantabulous time at EWE a week ago today and since then our week has got better and better! We met so many awesome suppliers at EWE and loved our little road trip down with Emily from Fishee Designs! If you missed the show then you seriously missed out! Make sure you get your little butt there next time! This week has also been particularly special for me since Andrea and her mum arriving in England! As some of you know I absolutely adore Mexico and one of my closest friends lives there, well this week she and her mum Coral came to visit us and I can’t quite believe it! I’m so used to being on a beach in a bikini with her and now we’re all wrapped up in our winter clothes together! They had never even left Mexico before so this trip is a very special one for them! Here’s what else we’ve been getting up to and loving this week…

♥ Celebrating bonfire night at James’ grandparents house! It’s a family tradition of theirs to all get together and watch the home firework display and huddle around the bonfire to keep warm! Then everyone goes back inside and indulges in hot jacket potatoes, chilli con carne, soup & hot dogs! We then finish off the evening with everybody taking their turn to stir the Christmas pudding! It really is such a lovely evening and makes me even more excited for the holiday festivities that will follow!
♥ Getting dressed up as Jigsaw! I was scaring myself every time I looked in the mirror!
♥ Visiting Gloucester cathedral with Andrea & Coral. I feel so lucky that we have such a beautiful building so close to us! Plus, I love that some of Harry Potter was filmed there, I could just see the characters in some of the scenes as I walked around inside! Awesome.
♥ Getting to photograph a stunning wedding at Clearwell Castle! On friday one of my friends from school Daisy, got married and I had the honour of capturing the day. The place was insanely gorgeous and so was Daisy!! Unfortunately it rained all day but we made the most of it and got out in the rain with umbrellas to take some photos!
♥ Planning our Birthday Party for in a couple of weeks time! Can’t wait to see all of our friends in the industry and give them a special thank you for all of their support over the last 2 years!
♥ Practising my spanish, since Coral doesn’t speak any English it really makes me push myself to speak the little bit of spanish I know when Andrea isn’t around the translate!

♥ Leaving drinks and a meal with my boss and all my lovely work mates. I will be sad to leave my old job as I have worked there since I was 18 and have made so many wonderful friends whilst working there. However it marks another very exciting chapter in my life as I start my journey in the world of self employment – wish me luck!
♥ Watching the fireworks at our local park. Bonfire Night is my most favourite time of year. There really is something about getting to dressed up all warm and drinking hot chocolate. I was however dissapointed at the lack of toffee apples this year, I couldn’t find them anywhere?
♥ Celebrating our wonderful friends 21st birthday, dancing to the spice girls and drinking shots of Ouzo. I think there were lots of sore heads the next day as you can probably imagine!
♥ Spending all day in my pyjamas! Its not that Im lazy I just dont have time to get dressed – honestly!
♥ I have to admit I have already started getting myself in the christmas spirit watching the christmas Family Guy dvd – ‘Happy Freakin Christmas’. Family guy lovers you know what I am talking about!
