A Styled Woodland Blush Pink Bridal Shoot with Emily
Some of you readers may not know this but I studied photography when I was younger and for the past few years I shadowed wedding photographers until I felt confident enough to go out and shoot by myself! So far I’ve photographed 6 weddings alone and absolutely love it! However a couple of weeks ago I clicked on my photography website and honestly thought it looked terrible! It wasn’t clean and it wasn’t easy to navigate. Time for a revamp!! As I started to clear up my site I decided I wanted some new material on it, I have two weddings booked this month but just couldn’t wait for those so I dragged Emily out into the woods to pose as a bride for me! We pulled together the dress from a beautiful long bridal skirt I bought off Ebay and the top half is actually a lace dress out of my mums cupboard! Then Em did her own hair and makeup and voila! We were ready!
Lucky for me, Em is so bloody photogenic and literally turns into a model when a camera is in front of her! We were joking that we should call her alter ego Matilda Smise and she should break out ‘The Blue Steel’ whenever she’s in model mode! (Oh god did I just make a Zoolander reference)
I’m so glad we were able to get the photos in while Autumn was starting to blossom and the trees still had leaves! If you want to you can check out my much cleaner and nicer photography website here!
Much Bespoke Love
