Well a very happy Sunday to you gorgeous! I’ve woken up this morning feeling all refreshed and ready to take on the day after attending the She Is Wild urban retreat yesterday! Me and Emily indulged in delicious healthy food, meditated, did some yoga and met some incredible women! But! We don’t want to give too much away because we’ll be sharing all of the juicy (literally) details with you on the blog soon so make sure you check back! Here’s what else we’ve been getting up this week and loving in life!
Jess Loves…
♥ Getting organised! Me and Em went totally cray this week with post it notes all over the wall and categorised everything we needed to do in order of importance! It was AMAZING to see it all laid out in small tasks, it really makes things a lot lot easier and my mind feels so much less crowded!
♥ Sorting out & pinning the details for The Online Wedding Show photo shoot! You guys are going to LOVE it!!
♥ ‘Like A Virgin‘ by Richard Branson. I’m currently reading it and it’s so inspiring!! I’d highly recommend it!
♥ Making bruschetta, I had some Mediterranean bread which I toasted under the grill, then sprinkled some parmesan over the top which was then melted under the grill too and then I topped it off with chopped olives, sun dried tomatoes, garlic & balsamic vinegar! It was delicious if i do say so myself!
♥ Wreck it Ralph! Oh my god have you seen this?! It’s so cute and clever and I loved it! Me & my sister sat and watched it with a big bowl of gnocchi each! It was such a nice afternoon!
♥ That pebbles is on her way to a speedy recovery! I absolutely hated taking her to the vets this week, she was really not impressed with being in the car either! But it was all for the best and she’s taking her antibiotics well!
Emily Loves…
♥ Working in my brand new office! There’s something about working in an office that makes me feel super motivated! Both myself and Jess held our first meeting in there this week and it was amazing how much we got done and planned! We have lots of exciting new plans to launch this year so it’s all systems are go!!
♥ My brother passing his driving test! I am so proud of him, congratulations John!
♥ Learning how to make almond milk with Jayne at She Is Wild urban retreat! I can’t wait to try this at home, and no it doesn’t involve milking nuts as I originally thought!
♥ Having the most amazing weekend that the retreat I mentioned above, another of my highlights had to be the deep relaxation sessions we had with Jayne. I have never felt anything like it and I had the best nights sleep after it last night! I have never felt so calm, relaxed and utterly positive!
♥ Watching Chris Packhams ‘Natures Weirdest Events’ I am addicted, you have to check it out, it’s unbelievable!
♥ Although I was sad to take down the Christmas decorations this week, I was also quite excited as I took the opportunity to have a huge sort out of the house! I found so much that I didn’t want and have now donated it to all various charities! There is nothing better than getting rid of unwanted items and knowing they are going to be used for a good cause!
