Wedding DIY: How To Make Flower Shoes!
As much as I love new shoes, having a bank balance to constantly buy them is a very distant dream! Which is why it’s always a good idea to go back through the shoes you already have and turn an old, never worn, pair into something new and beautiful! All you need to do this is a bunch of small, medium and large artificial flowers, glue, scissors and a pair of shoes! It really couldn’t be simpler…Here, let me show you…
Step 1: Take your artificial flowers and cut the stems off, you’ll want to create as flat a bottom to the flower as you can!
Step 2: Take your smallest flowers, in my case the purple ones, and start to glue them down the edge of the shoe. I used four flowers here.
Step 3: Glue on your medium sized flower and place a few smaller ones underneath it!
Step 4: Time for the big beautiful flower! Glue this one in place on the front of the shoe but slightly more towards the edge so it’s not completely central.
Step 5: Using your small flowers again continue layering and glueing them until you reach the edge of the shoe!
Step 6: Complete the pattern on the other shoe and you’re done!
Easy right? Go on…Give it a go…I know you want a pair!
Much Bespoke Love

I’m so going to do this!
I’m doing this for my wedding! Except with sunflowers =]
What kind of glue did you use??
Ok this is a great idea to start with when pimping your shoes but come on all those flowers on the shoes make them look bad so next time I would put on like one or two because that’s just too much. On the other hand tho, it would one thing to put that many for a costume
Thanks for getting in touch! The number of flowers completely depends on your personal taste which is the great thing about DIY – you can create your own based on your individual style and taste 🙂
