Off The Record: Milestones, Music & Magic!
Crikey! What a week it has been! This week has been so exciting as we were part of an amazing team that pulled together on Wednesday (despite the cold, rain and mud) to create what can only be described as one epic styled shoot. We did share a little sneak peak on Instagram and Twitter this week but I am afraid you are going to have to wait a little longer to find out what we got up to on our adventure into the deep dark depths of Puzzlewood.
For now here is what else we have been up to this week…
Emily Loves…
♥ Completing my first successful run of 2014! Ok it was only for 20 minutes but that was more than I could do before! Mr T has taken it upon himself to become my personal trainer, which I have to admit I was a little worried about at first, but he is actually very good and very supportive.
♥ Meeting and working with some of the best suppliers in the wedding industry was certainly a highlight of my week. Lots of them travelled far and wide to be with us in a freezing cold and wet forest in the middle of nowhere for a whole day, to create something that was truly magical. I am so grateful for their support and dedication, it means so much!
♥ Reaching over 1000 followers on Instagram was certainly a milestone for us this week. Now we are working towards 2000, so if you aren’t already following us there, then head on over and take a little look. It is where we post many of our sneak peeks and behind the scenes photos and videos, so you will never miss a thing!
♥ Having random conversations with Fishee first thing in the morning about what we are eating for breakfast???
♥ Making a very delicious winter vegetable and garlic stew. It was just what I needed this week to warm me up. The long winter days are certainly taking their toll!
♥ Indulging in a big ol’ piece of Banoffee pie whilst having dinner with the girls. Dont judge me, I was allowed I did a 20 min run this week!!
Jess Loves…
♥ Topshop sales. It’s the only rack I’ll allow myself to look at in the shop right now and I actually found some real bargains this weekend! One of which was a gorgeous kimono! Yay!
♥ Having a bath while watching the TV. How crazy that the hotel room we stayed in had a flippin TV built in to the tiles! I gotta say, Saturday Kitchen was a hell of a lot better while submerged in a hot bubble bath! Tilevision get’s my vote!
♥ James booking a meal for our ‘two year first date anniversary’! We always go back to the same restaurant where it all began and it is hands down, one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! It’s called El Puerto and is a tapas restaurant in Bristol, seriously check it out, it’s got a super Spanish vibe!
♥ Having lunch at Pieminister. HEEEEELLLLLL YEEEAAAAAHHH. You just can’t beat a Pieminister pie, the Heidi is my favourite!
♥ Juices. I’m still loving the juicer and we’re coming up with new recipes all the time! Pineapple, cucumber and fresh mint is THE BOMB!
♥ Organising a road trip to go and see Soph from Crown & Glory with Em from Fishee Designs! It’s going to be a hell of a night with us 4 together, cue the cocktails and the onesies!!
