Jules Bridal Jewellery 2014 Collection
Many of you will have seen Jules Bridal Jewellery on our blog before and so will know that we are huge fans of her accessories. Today we are so excited to be able to share the new 2014 collection with our readers and I have to say there are some extremely beautiful pieces to admire.
For the boho bride there are ethereal draped pearl hair accessories that are just magical and for the more classic or vintage bride there are statement pieces that will blow your mind. What’s more Jules bridal specialises in bespoke orders so if you wanted to seen an example of what Julie can do, todays feature is perfect for you.
The collection has recently been showcased in a styled shoot which is particularly useful if you want an example of how these pieces would actually look.
Founder Julie, is here to tell you more…
“Autumn in Ireland is one of the most beautiful seasons of all. Rust and gold leaves gently falling, old ivy’s clinging to crumbling walls.. We chose an authentic ancient private garden in Dublin as the backdrop to our shoot, with it’s miniature enchanted maze garden and some of the oldest and gnarliest yew trees in Ireland it was just perfect.
We tried to achieve very soft and ethereal wedding images with a carefree yet strikingly beautiful finish to represent our 2014 hair accessory collection to its very best. Our photographer Amanda Wilcher totally understood our style aesthetic and from the first shot completely captured our brief and our admiration !
With a typical Irish sprinkling of rain we took to the shelter of some beautiful trees and got some amazing shots within the winding, curling branches.
We borrowed a beautiful David Fielden gown from the ladies at Myrtle Ivory Bridal Couture in Dublin and dressed with a lace cover-up. We kept the make-up soft yet flawless and started out with a tousled up-style and eventually pulled it down very loosely to accentuate some of the draped pearl headpieces.
We had obviously encroached on someones territory in the garden and a little Red Robin stayed with us for over an hour hopping around close by at our feet. We took him to be our lucky charm as the day turned out entirely perfect.”
