Off The Record: What a Wild & Wonderful Week!

My gosh this week has been completely crazy!! Not only did we WIN A TRIP TO THE MALDIVES (I know right?!) courtesy of Kuoni but we also spent the day yesterday shooting the promotional material for the launch of The Online Wedding Show! Suppliers travelled from far and wide yesterday to join us in our colourful explosion of confetti and fun and I can honestly say it was a truly fantastic day! Not only was it a great atmosphere but me & Emily felt so blessed to be surrounded by so many awesome and supportive companies!

As if that wasn’t enough here’s what else we’ve been loving this week:

Jess Loves:

♥ Pimping out our YouTube channel!! It looks WAY better now and much more us! Plus it’s filled with lots of great DIYs, our adventures and just lots of general fun! Get your little butt over there and subscribe pretty please! There’s a ton of more fab things lined up!

♥ Attending Tie The Knot Wedding Carnival! Hands down one of the best wedding fairs we’ve ever been to! Me & Emily headed up there last Sunday and we were greeted by so many lovely smiling faces; some we hadn’t met before, some we consider good friends, and all absolutely incredible suppliers! We finished off the day sitting in a yurt, scoffing down delicious burgers (veggie burger on Em’s part) and listening to some super cool music. There truly was a fantastic atmosphere there! LOVED IT!

♥ Having breakfast in a diner! There’s a new diner that hasn’t long opened up in Gloucester docks and Emily had recommended the milkshakes to me and boy was I glad she did! They were absolutely delicious!! I had peanut butter & banana while James slurped down a Nutella one! Of course we totally had pancakes topped with maple syrup too!

♥ Seeing the email first that had said we had won the trip to the Maldives, I let out a massive yelp of excitement quickly followed by placing a phone call to Emily to break the amazing news! I obviously received several loud screams of excitement down the phone right back at me! Amazing moment!

♥ Having a girls night out in our local town! Although I have a heavy head today it was definitely worth it! So great to raise a glass and cheers to an awesome week and being one step closer to launching The Online Wedding Show!

Emily Loves:

♥ Ahhhhh!!! We won a trip to the Maldives!!! I am so excited!!! Can you tell??

♥ Veggie burgers and hot toddies at the Tie the Knot Wedding Carnival. As Jess said we had such a fantastic time and it was so lovely to meet the organisers Erica Willoughby and Binky Nixon – these ladies have worked dang hard to make that fair as amazing as it is. I have my fingers crossed that they will bring the carnival back to Gloucestershire again soon.

♥ Letting my hair down on a rare night out with Jess. Looking back at the pictures and videos this morning, there was a lot of singing and dancing going on!

♥ Working with so many amazing people on our styled shoot for the promo of The Online Wedding Show. Suppliers came from far and wide to work with us and I am so thankful. We pulled off the most amazing shoot and I cannot wait to share the fruits of our labour with you! #supersuppliers

♥ Working in the garden with the sun shining down! Summer is just around the corner, I can feel it!
