Off The Record: A Weird, Wonderful & Wild Week!
Happy Sunday beauts! I’m writing this to you from the comfort of my warm and cosy bed! (Just how Sunday’s should be spent if you ask me!) Me & Emily have had such a busy couple of weeks and I think I can speak for both of us when we say we we’re looking forward to some quiet blogging time, we’ve got so many great things planned for Bespoke Bride & have lots of work to do for The Online Wedding Show! We’re also going to have a brand spanking new media kit coming soon too, how exciting!!
Back to our week though, we spent yesterday at the amazing Weird & Wonderful Wedding World accompanied by some of our favourite people in the biz! Crown & Glory was there, Craig Dearsley, Veronica Dearly, Fishee Designs, Laura Power & Fairford Balloons to name a few! But believe us when we say, the fair was PACKED with bloody brilliant suppliers and was busy with excited brides! Keep your eye out on our YouTube channel on Wednesday because we’re going to be sharing an insight into what happened at the fair!
Jess Loves:
♥ Watching Derren Brown at Bristol Hippodrome! This was a Christmas present for me & my sister and we had been counting down the days until Tuesday! He was truly amazing and I spent all of the evening absolutely gobsmacked at everything he did on stage! The guy is a genius.
♥ Finishing another series of Desperate Housewives! We’re onto the last season now & I’m loving it just as much as the first time I watched it! Shit is kicking off though and all of the BIG story lines are coming into play!
♥ Having lunch with Craig Dearsley & Veronica Dearly! What an awesome couple they are, our table was filled with lots of laughs, delicious food & the odd alcoholic beverage or two…or three…or four. We can’t wait for our photo shoot with Craig next month!
♥ Preparing for my sister’s 18th Birthday, it’s only 10 days away and me & the family have got some awesome surprises planned! Along with a kick ass party of course!!
♥ Going to see my Nan at home, she was in hospital for quite a while at the beginning of the year so it’s so nice to see her back at home with a smile on her face!
♥ Knowing it’s only 3 days until the new puppy arrives!! This is my sister’s big 18th present because she’s wanted a dog all her life and my parents have finally gave in! Little Mushu will be here on Wednesday, my only concern is how my poor cat is going to take the news of this new member of the family!
Emily Loves:
♥ Getting back into the gym after taking a few months out! I had my first class of spin this week and it nearly killed me! I wanted to kick myself because just before Christmas I had started to get really good at it and now I am back as a beginner! Word of advice, don’t ever quit!
♥ Almond milk! I know I have gone on about it before but this week I seem to have a real appreciation of it!
♥ Getting my wild seeds in the mail from country file! Let the planting begin!
♥ Meeting with my old uni friends and eating at Las Iguanas in Cardiff! For someone who doesn’t like Mexican food it was bloody yummy!
♥ Getting bright and colourful at the Weird & Wonderful World and catching up with old and new faces!
♥ Double dating with Jess and James at The Stable on Bristol waterfront! Food has featured quite high on my love list this week hasn’t it!!

So glad you liked the Grooms in Buns post! Personally, I think it’s a super sexy trend too… but I have heard from brides that they’d rather a clean shaven groom. Whatever works for the couple, I guess! 🙂
