DIY Ombre Ink Name Tags
Ombre has been a wedding trend for a while now but for me, it’s not getting old! I absolutely love the soft and pretty look of this effect, even when using colours in the grey scale! These name tags are ridiculously easy to do and cheap too! All you need is:
White luggage tags // A paint brush // Ink in the colour of your choice // A stencil // A sharpie in the colour of your choose //
Step 1: Grab a plate and pop a few drops of ink and water onto it then mix together, you want to get the colour pretty pale and wishy washy then paint your entire luggage tag this colour!
Step 2: Add a couple more drops of ink to your mixture and paint your tag again, this time starting slightly lower down.
Step 3: Repeat again, making the mixture even darker.
Step 4: Finally add your last few drops of ink to your mixture and paint the lower part your luggage tag then leave to dry.
Step 5: Once dry, use your sharpie & stencil to draw on the names of your guests.
Step 6: Add your string to the tags.
Step 7: Wrap around some flowers on a pretty plate or display however you like! These tags would look particurlary pretty around jars or bottles too!
It really is so easy to do but looks so effective! Imagine using bright coloured ink to create these too, you’d get a beautiful ombre water colour effect!
Much Bespoke Love
