How To Plan A Destination Wedding to Las Vegas with EverAfter.com

I’d be lying if I said we weren’t dreaming of warm summer nights, spending our days lazing on beaches with layer upon layer of white sand and cool blue seas right now. As many of you will know me and Jess are in the middle of planning the holiday of our dreams to the Maldives and we couldn’t be more excited. There is something about the planning process that I find just as exciting as being on the actual holiday, planning what to wear, what to do, see, eat and drink.
If you are anything like me however, although exciting, planning can also carry a huge amount of stress and I find it extremely reassuring to have someone on hand who knows the ins and outs of our destination who can help with all the flights, transfers, hotels, itineraries and all the many other aspects of planning a trip abroad.
This got me thinking about destination weddings, if I find planning a holiday stressful imagine how I would find planning a destination wedding, not only do you have flights, transfers and hotels to think about, you also have to book a venue without potentially seeing it first? Who deals with the legality of the marriage? How do you transport the dress? These were just some of the questions that popped into my mind and that’s not even getting into the nitty gritty of the wedding. With this dilemma in mind I asked Kat a Venue Expert from EverAfter.com, how a couple would go about planning a destination wedding with her in Las Vegas.
Did I mention Kat used to live and work in the UK as a ballerina and she even had the pleasure of planning her own wedding abroad so she truly is the connoisseur of destination weddings.
Tell us a bit more about Ever After…
Our CEO was a sports photographer and in the offseason he would do photography for weddings. He witnessed firsthand how a bride’s day could easily fall apart if one piece of the puzzle wasn’t right and if the venue didn’t do a good job. To help avoid all of this, he decided to create a company that would only work with the best in the wedding business, and help couples find their Perfect Wedding Venue.
I am a Venue Expert here in Las Vegas. I have the exciting job of visiting all the wonderful venues that we have in our portfolio. I build relationships with their teams so that we can get our couples the best deals and make wedding dreams come true! I get to help bring to life some of the most unusual, creative, unique and, of course, traditional visions of each of our clients. Based on a couple’s vision, guest count and budget, I recommend the venues that I think will be a perfect match for their big day. I make it fun and stress-free! Being from the UK and having planned my own destination wedding, I know how stressful it can be!
Could you tell us more about the process of planning a destination wedding or honeymoon with Ever After?
First, we get the couple’s vision of their perfect wedding. We discuss themes, colors, budget, number of guests, etc. We then suggest venues that we feel would be the Perfect Wedding Venue for their big day. Once we have made our recommendations, we will take each couple on either a virtual tour or an actual tour of the venues. When the couple falls in love with a venue, we are able to book it on the spot and even help negotiate the contract, ensuring that the couple has it secured for their big day. We also make recommendations for hotel and guest travel options – it’s important to have a plan for your entire group, and we know the best that Las Vegas has to offer!
Did I mention our services are free? We bring so many weddings to our partner venues that they are able to save on marketing and sales costs.

The options here in Las Vegas are truly endless. All of our venues are different in their own ways and we can accommodate pretty much any vision that a couple has. One bride that I worked with had Elvis perform her ceremony. Another had a Star Wars themed wedding. We also have venues that are waterfront, romantic, so unexpected from Las Vegas. There’s so much natural beauty (the Red Rocks of the desert are fantastic) that is unbelievably breathtaking; your guests will be left speechless. There truly is something for everyone!
Are couples able to book their own bespoke package?
Absolutely! My job is to make sure you get the perfect venue and perfect wedding package for you. We help hundreds of couples a year, so we are able to negotiate the best deals and terms. We can make sure you get exactly what you want in your wedding package.
And, for the readers of Bespoke Bride, we would like to extend a special offer: when you call us and mention this blog post, you will get a free upgrade to a Suite for your wedding night (when you book your hotel with us) and a free Wedding Planning Binder (it’s 145 pages of wedding planning help that will come in very handy).

Tell us about the destinations and venues you have with you at Ever After? How are they certified or reviewed?
All of the venues that we work with are Bride Certified, meaning that we have actually spoken to brides that were recently married there and asked them whether or not they were thrilled with the venue. In addition, we perform background checks, check review sites and the Better Business Bureau to make sure that there are no complaints against the venue. We talk to our venues as often as we need to, this can sometimes be on a daily basis as we are always making sure they are taking care of our Ever After couples.
We couldn’t let you leave without asking…. Where would be your favourite destination for a honeymoon?
Having being fortunate enough to have visited many different places throughout the world, I would say that Bora Bora is my favourite honeymoon destination. The color of the water is amazing and the beaches are beautiful. Some of the resorts have bungalows on the water. There are even glass floors so you can see the fish swimming underneath you!
I have to say as someone who hasn’t been to Las Vegas but has had it down on their bucket list for a few years now, Kat has made it sound even more appealing if that is possible? The red rock of the desert sounds like somewhere I would like to see!
If you would like any more information or would like start planning your destination wedding head on over to EverAfter.com to start making those dreams into reality!
Ok so hands up who wants a wedding in Las Vegas? Maybe you already had your wedding there, we would love to hear all about it?
