A Sweet Central Texas Engagement Session – Autumn & Daniel
You put a beautiful couple with incredible personalities in Central Texas for an afternoon and you have all the ingredients for a sweet, romantic engagement shoot! Pine & Pearl Photography spent the day hanging out with Autumn and Daniel as they walked through wild flowers, laughed their way through the woods, and rode a bike through beautiful open fields. It truly is beautiful, over to bride Autumn to tell you more about their special engagement…
“Daniel and I had known that we wanted to get married for a while but it was always a question of when or where and we had always thought that we would get married after college and just never thought twice about it. One night we were at our favorite coffee shop on Lake Austin and were just talking about when we wanted to get married and all the details entailed by that and decided that we should pray about it. We prayed that God would give us a sign as to when we were to marry and that almost right after that there was a group of three swans that swam right up next to us and circled around us a few times and then swam away. Initially we didn’t think too much of it other than the fact that it was odd that there were swans on Lake Austin, but we had thought that maybe if they came back then it would be something significant. Sure enough they came back to us 3 times. We did not know what that meant exactly but we knew it was something. Since then we had looked for them several times but to no avail.
On the actual night of the proposal he came to pick me up from the apartment to go on a date to our coffee shop and then out to eat at a nice restaurant. When we got to the coffee shop it was set up as nice as I had ever seen it with candles on every table and a sort of romantic lighting throughout the venue.
We got our coffee and just for fun decided to go check and see if there was a swan out on the lake. To our surprise there was indeed a swan out there. Not only was it there but we were fortunate enough to feed it by hand from the dock. He had planned on proposing at our table that we always sit at but the swan was to us a sign of confirmation and encouragement in not only our relationship but that God was blessing us. When he got down on one knee and asked to take my hand in marriage I replied with tears of joy “Yes!”.”
Adorable right?
