Happy Fathers Day to all you wonderful daddies out there!!! Today I will be spending some time with dad back at home, my brother has kindly offered to cook and I am proud to say I will be providing the dessert – a yummy homemade apple crumble. Is it weird that I sometimes still call my mum and dads house ‘home’? Even though we have our own house now, it stills feels like home is where my mum and dad is. Maybe it will change when we have our own children, but for now I am excited to say I am going home for the day, how will you be spending your fathers day?

♥ Dinner with Mr T at a quaint little pub in the countryside. It was his 37th birthday this week so it was only fair that I treated him to a good pub dinner and my gosh it was scrummy!!
♥ DIY days! Me and Jess spent a whole day at my house creating DIY’s for some exciting collaborations that we have coming up over the next few weeks. Keep you eye on Festival Brides next week is all I am going to say…
♥ Attending Mr T’s end of season football awards dinner. I was so proud of him last night as he received an award for his longstanding commitment to the club. His team mates spoke of how they looked up to him and what a wonderful guy he was before presenting him with a signed West Ham Shirt, which is of course his favourite club. I have to admit I got a little teary!
♥ Speaking of football world cup fever has taken over our house. I think I must live with one of the biggest football fans in the world as he would literally sit and watch football all day everyday if he could. I am not a fan of football but I have to admit on big occasions like this I do actually find myself sucked into the atmosphere.
♥ Packing ready for our holiday to the Maldives!!! Oh my gosh I cannot believe that this time next week we will be sat on a beach, cocktail in hand, soaking up the rays. I feel like one very lucky girly!!

♥ Fathers Day! Yay happy Fathers day to the funniest, craziest and caring Dad in the whole wide world!! I’m so excited we’re out celebrating today with a massive roast dinner!
♥ Spending a ‘ DIY day’ at Emily’s, we managed to crank out 3 DIY tutorials in one day and loved every single one of them! One of those was the almond brownies and I have a sneaky suspicion they helped us power through!
♥ The sunshine! HELLO AMAZING WEATHER! I may have spent an hour out their on my lunch break working on the tan!
♥ Speaking of the tan…I’m way too excited about the Maldives, me & Em head off there on Wednesday, I can’t quite believe how fast it’s come around!
♥ Getting a GoPro, I haven’t figured out how to use it yet because I’m waiting on the right memory card to arrive in the post but i’m pretty darn ecstatic about wearing that bad boy on my head! lol! I love the idea of being able to go under the water with it, how fun will that be while we’re snorkelling?!
♥ The world cup spirit! Normally i’m not really that bothered about football but there’s something quite nice about everyone getting together to support England! Everyone becomes so patriotic! I’m totally routing for England AND Mexico though!
