Rustic. Vintage. Elegant; A Bridal Shoot with a Texas Twist
When Irene from Expose The Heart photography sat down with bride Meghan to talk about her bridal session ideas she quickly said “I would like to see pops of color, lace, something that will feel elegant, vintage, and rustic all at once.” and boy didn’t they nail it! These photographs are so beautiful and the lighting is simply breath taking! Meghan also used a bouquet that was handmade by her sister and wore a beautiful handmade headpiece from Etsy to complete her look…
“When Meghan and I sat down to go over her ideas of what she would like her bridal session to feel like she quickly said “I would like to see pops of color, lace, something that will feel elegant, vintage, and rustic all at once.” She’s a gal with style! As we planned for the shoot we immediately thought to use the location where she would soon wed. Vista West Ranch is amazing to work with and was happy to have us out.
The venue has an old rusted truck and car, which really played well with the theme we were going for. Not to mention the beauty of the building itself! With a few items from our prop inventory, some items Meghan had collected along the way, and with a little help from Revive Vintage Rentals we were able to create the look that she had been longing for. The day was beautiful, but was no match for Meghan as she was absolutely stunning! In full bridal attire and mom by her side we started the journey of photographing our bride to be in all her bridal glory. Meg left no stone unturned when it came to details. She completed her look with some personal touches such as the handmade bouquet made by her sister and the handmade hairpiece purchased on Etsy and of course what country gal has a bridal without cowboy boots? It was a match made in heaven.”
