Neon Coloured Ombre Spray Painted Bottles
Today we have a super quick and easy DIY for you that would be great as an alternative centerpiece. Jess and I had so much fun making these, although simple it was exciting to try out new colours and combinations and the final result was so bright and cheerful!
You will Need: Clear bottles// Neon Paint in your choice of colours (we chose pink, yellow, purple & teal)// Newspaper//
Step 1: Put down your newspaper and make sure you are in a well ventilated area. If the weather is nice you might want to think about doing this outside.
Step 2: Take your first bottle and following the instructions on the spray can, begin to spray the paint on the bottom of the bottle, rotating it as you go to ensure even coverage.
N.B. Try not to spray in one area for too long as this will cause the paint to build up on the surface and it will begin to run.
Step 3: Take your second bottle and repeat step 2, again ensuring you are rotating the bottle as you spray for even coverage.
Step 4: Leave your bottle to dry upside down on your newspaper.
Step 5: Once they are dry, place your flowers or in our case pom pom flowers in your bottles and enjoy!
We may have mentioned once or twice that we have been nominated for ‘Best DIY Blog’ in the Wedding Blog Awards so if you liked this DIY then we would love for you to vote for us to win.
In the meantime we have created a hashtag over on Instagram, if you would like to show us your wedding DIY’s then use #BESPOKEBRIDEDIY, we can’t wait to see what you have been up to?
