Off The Record: Bake Off, Birthdays & Beautiful Zante
Wowee what a week we’ve had! Things have been pretty busy at Bespoke Bride as Emily went on holiday to Greece yesterday so we’ve been prepping posts for while she’s away, we also had a very special DIY to do this week ready for the launch of the new Rock n Roll Bride magazine! You’ll have to wait until it hits the shelves to see it but we just know you’re going to love it! The shoot was filled with pretty mosaic pieces and styled with tons of fresh flowers and colourful bottles! Yippee!
Here’s what else we’ve been loving this week…
JESS LOVES…
♥ Shopping with Nan! Me and my sister headed to Bristol this week for a day out with her and the sun was shining for us all day! I bought some new jumpers ready for Autumn and found myself a burgundy floppy hat which I’ve been looking for for aaageess (found it in Primark!!) We also had a really yummy lunch in Coal (the cheesy pizza bread with caramelised onions was the bomb. Seriously)
♥ Great British Bake Off. Anybody else been watching this?? They had to make donuts this week and it instantly made me want to have a go at baking some! I’ve never made donuts before but I’m feeling pretty inspired and can feel a recipe search coming on as we speak…
♥ Preparing for James’ Birthday! I’ve got 2 days to go and I can’t wait to give him his presents! I LOVE birthdays!!
♥ Photographing weddings, I shot a friend of a friends wedding on Saturday and it was so beautiful! The whole day was really centered around family and since there was less than 30 guests it was a really intimate and personal wedding, I loved it!
♥ Moving into Emily’s house for a week to look after her cute kitty Mr Popo (and scamming on her Netflix since I don’t have it!)
EMILY LOVES…
♥ Finally getting to have my hair done again for the first time in months! I am officially a blondie again!
♥ Finishing all three seasons of Luther, Jess has been telling me how good it was for weeks but I was too scared to watch it as I hate anything with violence and gore. Sure enough though after one or two episodes I was hooked and this week I was sad to see it end!
♥ Arriving in Zante to sand, sea and …rain. That’s right, the weather has been horrendous since we got here but fingers crossed the weather will start to pick up tomorrow as we have some ace trips planned such as turtle spotting and visiting the famous ship wreck!
♥ Spending our first day in Zante visiting turtle nesting sites on lagunas beach. They are currently in the process of hatching so no one is allowed on the beach at night but we are hoping to catch a glimpse of the hatchings taking their first dip in the sea at some point this week!
