VINTAGE STYLE AIRMAIL TABLE PLAN & FREE PRINTABLE ESCORT CARDS

If you’re jetting off to tie the knot in sunnier climes, shaping your big day around your love of travel, or perhaps you have lots of guests attending your wedding from all corners of the globe – then this vintage style airmail seating plan could be just the ticket! There’s some great news in store for brides with a tight budget to work around too – you can create this gorgeous seating plan using our free printables poster and escort cards. Kirsten of the Little Wedding Helper has styled it here with vintage suitcases, globes and other gorgeous travel themed accessories – but you can be as creative as you like; escort cards look lovely displayed in lots of different ways, including on old frames, hanging off a tree, pinned to a board or map, or even simply laid out on a table at the entrance to your reception.

Customising and printing your escort card seating plan couldn’t be easier, simply follow these easy steps and you’re ready to go…

Step 1: Download your free printable ‘Where in the world am I sitting’ poster here. Hit print and your poster should come out on standard ‘US Letter’ or ‘A4’ paper (depending on your location). The actual poster design will be 8” x 10” which is a standard frame size, should you wish to display it in a frame.

Step 2: Head over to Hip Hip Hooray where you can customise the free printable escort cards. You can customise as many sheets as you need for free, and as soon as you’re done, you’ll automatically be emailed a link to download your customised designs. Print them out on to card (this can be done at home or at a local printing company for around 75p per sheet of 8 cards).

Step 3: Cut your escort cards out – for the straightest edge and most professional finish, it’s best to use a guillotine or craft knife, mat and ruler. Failing that, just call on your steadiest hand and reach for the scissors!

Step 4: Display your print and escort cards as creatively as you like. Some couples choose to display the cards alphabetically so guests can find their seats a little easier.
