A BOHEMIAN BRIDAL SHOWER BURSTING WITH COLOUR!
Can I let you in on a little secret? I’ve never been to a bridal shower. How rubbish is that?! They’re actually not that big over here in the UK but I fully intend to try and change that! They seem like such a beautiful thing to be a part of and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a girlie get together?! Today’s bridal shower shoot only fuelled my desire to attend one of these events and when you see the colourful boho elements I just know you guys will fall in love with it too! P.S All of the ladies in this shoot were actually friends IRL, hence all the pretty, smiley laughing faces!

“Bohemian style shindigs are so fun and eclectic! There are plenty of really simple ways to create a bohemian-inspired affair. You can always contact your nearest vintage or niche rental company because more likely than not, they offer a fun bohemian collection so you don’t have to source it yourself. For the DIYer in you, you can achieve this look with some great thrift store finds. The best part is that many of the pieces we used didn’t match exactly. Brass candle sticks of varying heights and styles down the center of a table-top or window-ledge are a simple way to add visual dimensions. Another eclectic DIY is to collect rugs of varying sizes and contrasting patterns and layer them randomly, similar to the way we did for our shoot. You can use the rugs to create a seating area for a sheltered cocktail hour, or for an outdoor affair you can create multiple little areas for a picnic style cocktail hour.
The table-scape can be achieved for a wedding by either renting vintage china and glassware or sourcing it yourself. You can mix it up by using all mismatched plates and glassware, or for a more uniform look you can design each table to include a specific style or family of colors.”
