A VERY SWEET ICE CREAM PARLOUR ENGAGEMENT
Although Trish & Jon had known each other at school it wasn’t until a chance meeting 4 years later, at Dixie Roadhouse, did the couple reconnect over a spot of line dancing…
“While we were in class, we got assigned to the same group project so we got to know each other a little bit, but once class ended we went our separate ways and didn’t speak again. Fast forward 4 years, and I was line dancing my heart out on the dance floor at Dixie. John saw me from across the bar and had to come over and talk to me. I honestly didn’t recognize him, so I was kind of put back but I figured I’d have fun with it and tried to teach him how to line dance all night. He text me at the end of the night, to ask if I was home okay, then the very next day he asked me out on a date.”
“We dated for 10 months before he proposed at dinner whilst we were celebrating me passing my nursing boards. When the desert plate came out, it had ‘Will you marry me?’ written in chocolate.”
