A few weeks ago we asked you guys to take our Reader Survey and literally hundreds of you rushed in to share your opinions with us! THANK YOU SO MUCH! We cannot even tell you how helpful it is to get feedback, both good and bad and hear about what you guys are loving and what you want to see more and less of! I thought it would be fun to write this post and share some of the results with you as I’m sure you’re also intrigued to hear what your fellow readers think!

So 94.7% of you are ladies which we totally expected, it does get rather girlie around here but a big shout out to the 5.3% of males out there reading BB!
Which of these best describes you?
So we’ve OBVIOUSLY got a lot of bride’s to be out there but it’s also super interesting to see that member’s of the wedding party are reading, along with grooms, newly weds, DIY lovers, wedding suppliers, bloggers and just some awesome people who love Bespoke Bride! HOLLA!
Which posts do you love most from Bespoke Bride?
We clearly have 3 winners here: Real weddings, DIYs & advice pieces! We’re going to be rejigging the schedule slightly so that we include more of these features but don’t worry, we’ll still be featuring the other types of posts that you love! When asked if there were any other features you loved here that we had missed out loads of you said giveaways and competitions so we’re working on getting you guys some more freebies too!
Which DIY’s have you made from the blog?
This was a super interesting question for us because we often just put DIYs out there but never really know if you lot are actually making them, but it’s good to hear that you are! Not surprisingly you guys LOVE the free printables but you’ve also been busy making the tulle floral skirt, flower crowns, the DIY bar cart, origami hearts, cookies, this cake topper, the tattoo station and make more! Some of you guys also made your own ombre tulle skirts! (I think we’ve got some tulle lovers here right?!)
If you have not completed a DIY project from us, what were the major reasons why not?
Ok, we hear you, you guys are stretched for time, I’m guessing every bride is?! So we’re going to be making it our mission around here to be adding in a lot more tutorials that can be completed quickly! No access to supplies is a difficult one for us to tackle because we mostly use materials available to us in the UK but we’ll try to make more DIYs using more generic supplies that should be accessible from most places! Also it’s good to know that for those of you that haven’t made any DIYs yet one of the biggest reasons was because your wedding is too far away and you’re gonna get creating as soon as you’re ready! High five for that! Don’t forget, if you do make one of our DIYs we would love to see! Tag your photos with #BESPOKEBRIDEDIY on Instagram!
What kind of wedding DIYs would you like to see here?
Wowzers! You guys had lots of ideas and these are the most common ones we kept seeing so we have noted these down and can’t wait to get researching some project ideas and get creating! Some of you were super specific about the styles and types of DIYs you’d like to see here too which was also super helpful! It was really awesome to hear about all the DIYs you plan to do for your own weddings as well and we’ll be using some of those to structure our posts over the next few months too!
Are there any other types of content you would like to see here? Any ideas for new features you would like to see?
This was an awesome question for us to read the answers to because you completely filled us with inspiration! The above is just a snippet of all the ideas you guys had and we can’t wait to start turning these into posts and features!
How can Bespoke Bride improve?
You can’t! It’s great as it is! You guys were so sweet and said this a lot and it’s always so encouraging to hear that you love what we’re doing and what we’ve done so far!
More offers & Competitions! Amen to this, we’re going to be working up a plan of action to feature more competitions and offers for you here on Bespoke Bride stat!
Stop the newsletter popup! Ok ok, so apparently our popup prompting you to sign up to our newsletter is really annoying you guys! It crops up every time you try to leave so we’re going to look into how we can change this or do something else to promote our newsletter to our readers! (We promise, it’s awesome and worth signing up for!)
More collaborations with other blogs & companies! YAY! We were so happy to hear that you want to see this too, we absolutely adore working with other companies and collaborating with other blogs so we will get on this!
Please post more! Alot of you wanted to see more content, more often so we’re going to be bumping up our schedule from 5 posts a week to 7 posts a week to see how we get on! You also asked to see more real weddings more often so we’ve noted that too!
More DIYs! Which also leads us onto more DIYs and free printables, instead of posting 4 tutorials a month we’re going to aim to post 8 DIYs/free printables a month for you guys! WOOHOO Let’s get crafty up in here!! You also wanted to see brides and grooms using our DIYs in their real weddings…We really want to see this too so please email us your photos if you’ve used any in your wedding! A lot of you lovely readers also wanted to see more information within the tutorials like how much roughly it cost to make and how long it would take to make in batch which we get would be waaaaaay more helpful!
Make it quicker to load! Not really much to say here other than we will speak to our tech guy and figure out why it is slow!

Would you be interested in seeing more videos from Bespoke Bride?
Blimey! Looks like we’re going to be bringing our YouTube channel back! We used to post videos once a week but in the lead up to Christmas we were struggling not only to come up with ideas for the videos but to keep up with the schedule and the filming and editing of the films, we wasn’t even sure you guys wanted to see them! BUT now we know you do, we’re going to be working on our channel a lot more and turning it into a helpful resource for you brides and grooms to be!
Have you encountered any problems during your wedding planning that you would like help tackling or need advice on? We would love to help answer your questions or problems in advice based posts!
I don’t want to go into too much detail here because we’re going to be covering it in future posts but it makes us sad to hear how many of you are having difficulties planning your wedding and how stressed it’s making you! We’ve even received a couple of comments about the wedding industry making you feel not beautiful in your wedding dresses and the pressures to lose weight and even battling with depression. We are here to help though in any way we can and are going to start by writing about some of these issues and how to overcome them.
Where have you/will you mostly shop for your wedding?
Just as we suspected, a huge amount of you are now shopping for your wedding online! This is awesome news for lots of our sponsors and suppliers over in BB Boutique!
Would you consider buying products or booking services through BB Boutique, our online wedding marketplace?
It was even more awesome to hear that a whopping 75.4% of you would consider buying or booking through BB Boutique! We’re so pleased that you are loving all of the amazing suppliers listing their products and services!
Is there anything you’d like to ask us?
The one question that kept cropping up here was whether or not we’re going to be bringing back our bridal subscription boxes ‘BB Crafty Club’, in all honesty this still needs some thinking through! We know that this has the potential to be awesome and we all know how fun it is to receive a box of goodies through the post every month but we just can’t dedicate the time to it that the project deserves right now. Maybe in the future we’ll be able to team up with other bloggers or companies to make this dream happen but right now the whole thing is on hold still.
Ok so to summarise…
More DIYs, more free printables, more advice pieces, many more real weddings, quicker DIY projects, new features, more competitions, posting more often and more collaborations! YAY! And yikes that was a long post, but we had a lot to cover! We’re so excited to start all of the new content and we hope you’re excited to start seeing the changes!
