SAY ‘I DO’ TO THIS QUAINT & COLOURFUL ISLAND IN ITALY
You can easily imagine a wedding in Venice with the couple smiling in San Marco square, taking a trip on a gondola and hosting their reception in a super luxury hotel. In fact you often see this kind of wedding whilst browsing Pinterest! However wedding planner Valeria, wanted to show a different side to the typical dream Italian Wedding.
“I have nothing against this weddings but I know that there is another Italy, more genuine and true, where you can have real fun and be more authentic.” She told us.
“Italy is full of treasures to discover, Burano is just an example of how a bride can surprise her guests with something really different.”
“I planned and designed this styled shoot near Venice, but in a little, cozy, colorful and island called Burano, an old fishing village now famous for the houses painted with different colors and for it’s precious, handmade lace.” Valeria told us.
“There is just one place where you can actually plan a wedding in Burano and I used that venue as our head quarter. You can see the secret garden in the images, together with our bride in a lovely short dress arrived straight from Spain. I wanted colors and happiness for this shoot, but I couldn’t avoid a touch of romanticism, I’m italian after all!”

I like this article! I’ve never been in Italy. My friends had their wedding near Venice. I saw the photos, so pretty cool. Their reception was in luxury hotel. I would like also to have my wedding in Italy.
So bright and colourful, wonderful photography too. Congrats!
Thank you so much!
