DIY BRIDE TRIBE TOTE BAGS FOR ALL YOUR GAL PALS!
Tote bags are the bomb, they’re so handy and can look insanely pretty with a little love and DIY! Today we’re getting our neon rainbow vibes on and showing how you can make these fun bride tribe tote bags for your bridesmaids! Be sure to fill them with lots of lovely goodies for your gal pals too!
YOU WILL NEED:
Plain tote bags // Cricut Explore // Cricut iron on in bright colours // Cricut iron on in gold // An iron // Bride Tribe template //
STEP 1:
Start by cutting strips out of your colourful iron on using your Cricut machine. (Remember to face the shiny side down onto the mat) We used the colours neon yellow, neon pink, blue , orange & neon green and cut them out 0.75 inches by 15 inches.
STEP 2:
Iron your tote so it’s nice and flat and easy to work with, then place one of your colourful strips onto the tote and start ironing! You’ll want to keep moving the iron over your strip for a good 30 seconds to make sure that the design has completely transferred.
STEP 3:
Repeat with the rest of your strips varying the colours as you go.
STEP 4:
Next, upload your bride tribe template to the design space and cut it out. Remember to tick the option that says ‘mirror image’ so that when you iron on the design it doesn’t come out backwards! Then set it to cut out on your gold iron on.
STEP 5:
Remove the negative spaces from your bride tribe design and then place it flat down onto your tote and iron on top!
Then you’ve created a super fun rainbow tote bag! All you need to do now is continue making as many as you need for the rest of your gal pals! xxx
