BEHIND THE SCENES AT OUR MEDIA KIT SHOOT
If you follow us on Instagram, you would have seen that we have recently been shooting the images for our brand spanking new media pack. Although we update our kit annually, this one will be particularly special as we are excited to announce that it will also see the relaunch of Bespoke Bride, which is currently undergoing a major overhaul.
Before the shoot we brainstormed a long list of things we wanted and two of the most obvious things for us were lots of fun and of course COLOR! This meant pulling together a kick ass team of professionals who we knew could help us showcase our fresh new look and a slightly new direction for Bespoke Bride. We had so much fun working with the most amazing vendors, so to give you a taster of what to expect from both the new media pack and site over the coming weeks, here is a little behind the scenes of how things went down on the day.
We will jump at any chance to work with our gals and videographers the Costa Sisters who were sold on the concept from the word go, and when they mentioned that their fave photographers Through The Woods We Ran, were relocating to Bristol from Oz, we knew we had to check out their work. Not surprisingly, we instantly fell in love with what we saw! First things first, Glenn and Laura love and I mean LOVE their cats! That was a winner straight away, but when I found out they were also huge animal lovers and Vegetarian, I knew we would get on like a house on fire. Their work is all of the things we were looking for, cool, creative and totally modern and their style perfectly complimented our crazy colorful shoot.
It was so important to us to showcase the work of the many talented vendors in our new marketplace and since we wanted to show as many of their skills as possible, it was only logical to create a number of different styled areas using pieces from Pop Pop Papier, Strange Case and Comeuppance.
We also couldn’t resist including the new dress collections from Katya Katya Shehurina, Oh My Honey and E & W Couture. Seriously that rack of dresses was the prettiest I had ever seen!
Continuing with our bright and colorful theme we were over the moon when Minkiemoo Bakery offered to bake us a cake for the shoot, but nothing could have prepared us for what we received. Debbie baked us a 4 tier cake, decorated with a glorious watercolor effect, topped with neon gems and filled with strawberry buttercream icing. Delicious was an understatement, I have never tasted icing that good!
It felt like murder as Jess got to dip her finger in the icing for a shot, whilst the rest of us looked on, drooling with hunger!
So there you have it! A quick peek into how we created the shots for a new media pack and what you can expect for the new site. We had a blast working with so many talented people and we can’t wait to show the efforts of all their hard work in the weeks to come.
