Who doesn’t love cake right? Its yummy, looks good and just about makes any bad day better. So we have been scouring Instagram for some of our favourite bakers who will be sure to inspire the hell out of your wedding cake with their creative designs. We promise you will be drooling with hunger by the end of this post, so you might want to have some cake nearby to curb that craving. Enjoy!

Katherine Sabbath is a Sydney-based, self taught cake creative and passionate merry-maker. Originally a High School English, History, Geography and Commerce teacher, she has always been a self-confessed, sprinkle-covered, sticky-fingered, bake-aholic! Any spare hour would be spent mixing, rolling, piping, dusting (not to be confused with the housework kind), ganaching, sprinkling and of course, taste-testing! Her love for experimenting with new flavours and dessert concepts, has led her to pack up the teaching textbooks and dive head-first into the dessert world.

She has always loved baking and creating special cakes, and after a career in textile design as a senior designer and assistant art director, has now returned to her baking roots.

Anges de Sucre is an award-winning small family-run online bakery based in West London baking a fabulous range of unbelievable cakes and treats like macarons, marshmallows and Muffles, founded by Kuwait-born Londoner Reshmi Bennett, who followed her dreams to train in classical French cuisine in Paris at École Grégoire Ferrandi.
Combining classic French cuisine techniques with flavours from around the world, Reshmi and her team whip up and deliver a selection of jewel-like marshmallows and macarons, alongside their own sweet-inventions such as Muffles (marshmallow-truffle hybrid), and you have GOT to see their fabulous birthday cakes – they’re nothing short of WHOA!

Self taught cake designer Jenna Rae and designer and photo stylist Ashley Nicole co-own Jenna Rae Cakes, a beautiful boutique bakery located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Jenna is a self-taught baker and cake designer who found a passion for creating custom cakes in 2010. Her classic, feminine approach to cake design, partnered with her eye for detail and on-trend aesthetic, has led Jenna to the forefront of the wedding industry–setting the trends with flawless execution of intricate designs.

Rosalind’s path to making cakes began when she chanced upon her mother’s old notebooks from her cake decorating classes. After returning from a trip to New York and visiting the famous Magnolia Bakery, she saw an opportunity for decorating cupcakes with elaborate sugar flowers and decorations, and put this to the test, setting up a stall in Greenwich Market. The cupcakes proved to be a huge hit, and it wasn’t long before the business grew and Rosalind began making beautiful and elaborately decorated wedding cakes.
