THIS INSPIRING TEAM OF WEDDING SUPPLIERS ARE MAKING A STATEMENT ABOUT MARRIAGE EQUALITY
It’s one of Australia’s most hotly debated political issues right now, as the future of legislation allowing same-sex marriage, looks more uncertain than ever. But those in the wedding industry are fighting back, keen to remind politicians that they are not happy about the current laws and they want to see change. Sarah from SarahHearts Photography, along with an amazing team of vendors, pulled together to create an inspirational same-sex shoot to highlight just that, and I think you will agree they have done a rather fantastic job.
“On a very rainy day, a very special group of people made some magic happen… Not only did we create something beautiful to look at but we are making a statement and saying that we do not accept the current marriage laws.” Photographer, Sarah began.
“We wanted to create something that no one had seen before. We wanted people to see how brilliant the little town of Mackay is.” She continued.
“I’m not even sure where to begin or how to tell you how absolutely majestic, breathtaking and divine the greenhouse is. When Roz from Arozona took me there for the first time it absolutely took my breath away, to call it heaven on earth would be an understatement. I actually had trouble concentrating whilst shooting because of being surrounded by such wonder.”
“From the millinery, to the cheese tower, to the flowers, to the succulents, everything contributed was unique in its own way and so beautiful.”
