DIY NATURAL PETAL CONFETTI TRAY
There’s always a need for little trinket trays am I right? Whether you use them to fill up with paper clips, store your jewellery, or just generally have them on display, I personally think the prettier the better! And I’m not sure that you can get any prettier than this natural petal confetti tray that we created in collab with Shropshire petals!
You guys already know that we’re obsessed with their beautiful confetti, the colours are just insanely gorgeous and you really don’t just need to use confetti as throwing confetti! Creating a little trinket dish like this out of your wedding confetti is great reminder of your special day that you can keep around or they would even make lovely gifts for your bridesmaids! You could even use them as part of your table decor if you wanted to!
YOU WILL NEED:
A plain small tray // Natural petal confetti in the colours of your choice // Gold glitter // Matte Mod Podge //
STEP 1:
Apply mod podge to the bottom of your tray then sprinkle your confetti into the tray, be as generous with it as you like!
STEP 2:
Grab your gold glitter and sprinkle over top of your confetti until you’re happy with it.
STEP 3:
Push down/pat down on your confetti so that it sticks into the mod podge well.
STEP 4:
Next, fill your tray with more mod podge until it reaches the top of your tray and is fully covering all of your confetti and glitter.
STEP 5:
Leave your tray to dry somewhere completely level for 24 hours and voila! If you want to add a few more petals to the very top of your tray then simple repeat steps 1 and 2 then apply a thin layer of mod lodge back over the top!
