A FUN & COLORFUL TAVERN WEDDING
We are so excited to share Colleen and Bob’s fabulous Charleston Pour House Wedding with you today. This James Island couple wanted to keep it local for their low key brunch wedding. Getting ready at a beautiful Folly Beach house, their photographer was able to capture some sweet moments of Colleen with her gals. Also joining them was a very important member of the wedding party – Howie the Beagle!
“Neither of us wanted an over the top frou frou wedding. We were so happy to have had a somewhat intimate Catholic Church to get married in, followed by a brunch at The Lot and then an Americana/Blue Grass band on the deck at the Pour House. I love the murals at the Pour House and thought they would make for some interesting photos, as well as keeping our Fingers crossed for NICE weather!” Colleen explained.
“While I didn’t want it to be frilly and ridiculous, I certainly wanted it to feel nice and put together, just not stiff and formal. I wanted it to feel like two adults celebrating but with a fun party to celebrate finding each other and joining our families and friends for a great day. I wanted it to be unique from other weddings and a reflection of our spirit and happiness.”
