INSPIRED WEDDING IDEAS FOR THE BEST POOL PARTY ELOPEMENT EVER!
This styled pool party elopement was dreamt up by event designer L Elizabeth Events, photographed at the trendy Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, followed by a getaway in a vintage Ford and sunset photos at nearby Papago Park. The couple featured are real life newlyweds, so was a great excuse for the bride to wear something she had originally wanted to wear for her wedding but wasn’t quite right the right fit – her grandmother’s wedding dress! Which just so happened to be the perfect style for the retro vibes and their vintage getaway car.
“The concept was based around having a full wedding weekend with multiple events, as well as looking at rehearsals and elopements differently. From a food truck party to a poolside cocktail party to an intimate yet upscale elopement, we wanted to show different ideas to inspire couples who don’t want a traditional or big fancy wedding but rather a more personalized celebration.” Explained photographer, Meredith.
“Our real life newlyweds had the chance to play around with this concept as their own alternative wedding. This included the bride wearing her grandmother’s wedding dress and having time for photos with their family’s vintage Ford getaway car as well as couple’s portraits in the desert at sunset. We also incorporated the food trucks that catered their wedding but they barely got to enjoy on the actual wedding day. We find this often happens with couples, so again, the shoot was about showing ways to enjoy a weekend of activities and alleviating that “it goes by so fast” feeling.”
