WAYS TO DECORATE YOUR WEDDING WITH CRYSTALS THAT AREN’T TACKY!
Hey guys! We have been so excited to share today’s unique styled shoot with you. I don’t know if you have noticed by crystals are back in a big way and it’s something we can 100% see ourselves getting behind.
When someone mentions crystals, I have to admit my first thought is of the type of crystal you’d find on a chandelier, which is beautiful don’t get me wrong, but definitely not me! Instead we are celebrating crystals in their more real and rustic form.
Think Rose quartz. Amethyst. Onyx.
Have we got your attention yet? Thought so! Read on and prepare to SWOON!!
“This unique styled wedding takes inspiration from various crystals and geodes. Tones of amethyst and gold weave seamlessly throughout the design and are captured perfectly by both the floral design and also in the gold-dipped fig spice cake, (which was gluten free!) along with her amethyst candy covered cupcakes.” Photographer Brienne explained.
“Incorporating raw gemstones can elevate both the look and mood of any wedding. From bare crystals, to stones sewn into or added to your trousseau, to show-stopping unique jewelry, to those amazing sliced agate name cards, adding touches of this stunning organic element to your day can be equal parts playful and elegant.”
“And DIY brides should take note: that gorgeous copper pyramid is easier to make than you think!” She added.
“Copper piping pieces can be purchased and cut to order from most home improvement stores. 4 longer pieces (for the height) and 4 shorter pieces (for the base) can be easily wired together for your desired size and as stunning piece of sculptural art to seal your vows under. Want to add a little more glam? Add extra wiring from the peak to hang florals, dripping gemstones, or even a chandelier!”
