FREE PRINTABLE EMOJI FAVOUR POUCHES
When our reader survey was completed earlier in the year it was quite clear that a lot of you were interested in fun DIY favour ideas that wouldn’t cost you a bomb so today’s free printable is cheap and cheerful! Say hello to these adorable emoji favour pouches! We’ve used our favourite emojis including the unicorn, the rainbow, the pretty pink flower, the ice-cream, the watermelon and of course the pink heart and once the pouches were made we filled them colourful sweets to make an easy favour for your guests! These would also make great confetti pouches if you’d prefer! Here’s how to make your own…
YOU WILL NEED:
A printer // Craft glue // Scissors // A selection of small sweets (We used millions) // Printable emoji template 1 // Printable emoji template 2 //
STEP 1:
Download the free printable templates above (they’re mirrored, so each sheet has the front of each pouch and the back) and print out in full colour onto the white paper or card. Make sure your printer is set to a high quality print to really make the colours POP!
STEP 2:
Carefully cut out each of the shapes.
STEP 3:
Take the front of your first pouch and glue around the edges, leaving a free of glue to be able to pop the sweets in. The then do the same to the back of your pouch. You can then seal the two together, making sure the glue free area is left open. If you prefer to sew the sides up to avoid using glue then go ahead and do that instead, I just happen to be rubbish with a needle and thread!
STEP 4:
Tidy up any overlapping edges with a pair of scissors and make sure that your glue has completely dried.
STEP 5:
Add in your sweets, then carefully glue the opening shut with the tiniest dab of glue.
