Upon seeing a shoot like today’s, I often wonder where the designer found their inspiration? As a creative myself, I usually find inspiration from all sort of places, usually when I least expect it? So I asked Julie Crawford, both designer and photographer of today’s shoot, how she found the inspiration for this styled shoot?

“Big Sur is lush and magical so I wanted to create a shoot that represented how I feel when I see a photograph of the beautiful California coast with the turquoise waters and jagged edges.” She began.
“I chose this location because it is one of the most beautiful places to witness! I journeyed on a 25-day road trip by myself and drove all the way across the country to photograph the shoot. My passion is adventure, love, and art; so I use all aspects when I design shoots for other creatives.”
“I worked tightly with a group of amazingly talented wedding artists across the nation to bring this shoot to life. The color palette of pinks and greens brings forth the tropical design along with keeping it every bit bohemian with a huge chunks of crystals, vintage china, gold geometric pieces a floral crown and a handmade dress from Dreamers and Lovers who also wrote the poem below.”
“We wanted to appeal to free spirited couples who aren’t afraid to shine boldly – in both love and color. The real life couple photographed here could not have fit the vibe more perfectly. I’m all about the wild couples who love from the soul. Magic.”
