DIY GRADIENT SPRAYPAINTED TABLE NUMBERS
I love fun table names as much as the next gal but sometimes it’s just easier to have table numbers and if you’re thinking of having numbers instead of names then do not worry because that doesn’t mean that they’re going to be boring! Today’s DIY is all about these fun spray painted gradient table numbers and they really couldn’t be easier to do! These are perfect if you really want to add a pop of colour to your tables and if you team them up with some bright and beautiful flowers you’re onto a real winner!
YOU WILL NEED:
Wooden Table Numbers (We got these ones from eBay) // Spray paint in the colours of your choice! We used Rustoleum in spa blue, candy pink, berry pink and real orange //
STEP 1:
If you like you can add a base paint of white first of all, I didn’t have any white paint on hand though so I just went straight in with the colours. I decided to use the blue first so I went ahead and spray painted the top of each of the numbers blue.
STEP 2:
Next, I decided to go to the bottom of the letters and spray paint the orange, this was because I wanted to the pink colours to really POP and knew if I spray painted the orange last it would cover them up a bit too much.
STEP 3:
Finally, spray paint the two different shades of pink, I started with the light pink then added the bold berry pink afterwards.
STEP 4:
Allow to fully dry and then repeat steps 1 – 3 adding a second layer of coat to each number.
Told you it was easy right? It took me all of maybe 10 minutes to paint these three numbers and then leave them to dry, I added the second coat within a few hours and by the next day they were ready to use, so you could easily get a bunch of table numbers done in one afternoon! Who doesn’t love a quick and easy wedding DIY am I right?! xx
