THESE SLUMBER PARTY BRIDAL SHOWER IDEAS WILL MAKE ALL YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE
Is there anything more exciting when your a teen than slumber party with your gal pals? How about a sleep over with loads of marshmallows, rock candy and pink cocktails topped with cotton candy. Let’s be honest, thats pretty much every gals’ dream right? So you would like to throw a bridal shower or even a birthday party with a difference why not host a sweet inspired sleepover?
To show us how its done, Dream Defined Events and Rachel Lane Makeup Artistry of Washington, DC teamed up to create a super sweet unicorn inspired, fantastical styled bridal shower with an added twist to the usual party – a fun sleepover for the sugar obsessed.
This is for the rad bride who is not afraid of color, glitter, and all things edible!
Driven by a pastel color palette, they adorned the dessert table with unique candy terrariums and created mini sugary scenes. Colored sugar powder, rock candy, and chocolate covered confections became the sand and rocks. Gummies, marshmallows, mint meltaways, candy sticks, and animal figurines acted as the plants and other accents.
The cakes’ decorations played with the many textures and shapes of candy. Because, who doesn’t want multi-colored bubbles on top of a cake?
The colorful confections also inspired the girls’ hair and makeup looks. Rocking fluffy cotton candy buns, lollipop hair bobbles, bubble gum pink eye shadow, lemon yellow liner, and sparkly concealer! To embrace the slumber party vibes, the gal pals got cozy in lacy nighties and silk robes.
Hopping on that holographic craze, they created an adorable label for cotton candy invitations and soda pop labels on the girlfriends’ fizzy drinks. Custom candy hearts saying hip phrases like “BAE MINE” sprinkled the table as party favors and additional decor. Pink cocktails topped with cotton candy and pop rocks helped keep the sugar buzz going. When the buzz died down, the girlfriends’ headed to a fluffy bed covered in pastel furry pillows and tulle!
What a sweet way to celebrate!
