SHOW OFF YOUR ENAMEL PINS WITH THIS FUNKY DIY WREATH!
When it came to deciding our wreath DIYS last year we had two ideas one mind, one candy covered wreath and one sequin holographic wreath and I loved how both of them turned SO MUCH! They were definitely two of my favourite Christmas tutorials we had ever created, talk about a statement door piece right?! Anyway, this year when brainstorming wreath ideas I was struggling with something that could better last years, then I started to think about what had been really trendy this year….and it hit me! Pins! What a freaking awesome way to display all of your pins this Christmas than on their very wreath?!
YOU WILL NEED:
A polystyrene wreath // Craft paint in the colours of your choice // A big selection of pins* //
*All of the epic ones you can see in these photos are from Punky Pins and they literally have over 180 pins to choose from! My favourite is that adorable gingerbread house! And don’t get me started on how darn cute the christmas presents are!
STEP 1:
Paint your polystyrene wreath whichever colour you would like, this is just because the pins will not fit perfectly together and it’s better to have a little bit of colour showing through instead of just plain white polystyrene! We went for a shade of pastel pink,
STEP 2:
This is pretty much as simple as it looks, all you need to do now is decorate your wreath with your pins! Position them in a completely random way or you could clump them together in colour schemes, whichever you prefer!
HOW EASY and fun is this wreath!? I love the idea of being able to see your whole collection on display in a festive way! Don’t forget if you want to add a few more pins to your collection then be sure to check out Punky Pins! xxx
